Ms. Yulianna Rumyantseva

A pianist, teacher, accompanist and chamber musician, Yulianna was born in Kharkov (Ukraine), and started her musical training at the age of 4.

Her mentor and teacher, Prof. Svetlana Zakharova (taught by Regina Horowitz, sister of Vladimir Horowitz), is the Head of Department at the Kharkov Secondary Specialised Music School for Gifted Children.

In 2011, she was admitted into the National Music Academy of Ukraine in the class of Prof. Yuri Kot and completed her Master Degree in 2016.

Yulianna has collaborated with famous Ukrainian performers including Olga Ryvnyak, Andrey Pavlov, Tatiana Piminova and Yuri Shutko.

Since graduation, she worked as accompanist and teacher at the Kiev Children’s Music School. Yuliana is highly flexible and skillful when it comes to working with beginners, as well as with juniors, to prepare them for admission into music colleges and conservatoires.

Apart from her passion for working with children, she regularly performs in Ukraine as a chamber musician and accompanist.

She has collaborated with famous Ukrainian performers including Olga Ryvnyak, Andrey Pavlov, Tatiana Piminova and Yuri Shutko. In 2013 she premiered the works of Ukrainian composer Pavel Kolpakov, and is a member of the Musical Society for Young Musicians and Composers “Sonor Continuos”.

She has won a major number of prizes from international competitions, including 1st prize at the “Ústí nad Laben” in Czech Republic, 2nd prize from “The chords of Khortitsa” and 2nd prize at the “21 Century Art”.
